this is fine, actually, because that — all of this, starting from yomi's almost-not-quite-there-kiss (which murr knows wouldn't be a kiss, even if it was, because he knows how that feels) — makes his heart pick up, eyes widening just the slightest at what unravels in front of him. beyond that.

and, as he does in the face of discovering something new, in the face of that absolutely painful and terrible pun, with such a grand quality... murr laughs. he laughs, and laughs, and laughs, those feelings running through his entire body as he shakes underneath yomi. it tickles, almost. it itches. but murr makes no move to swat at those feelings, tears collecting at the corner of his eyes. ]

Ahahahahahaha! That's terrible! Eye see you... eye see you... Eye see you too!

[ he does. how unexpected, how new, how wonderful, how beautiful, how terrifying, how—

he's so excited. his hand outstretches to reach for yomi, everywhere, his smile widening, the ring on his finger glowing the slightest bit red in turn as his magic flows forth. matchies, matchies with them, a brilliant thing in a sea of darkness. ]
