[ one of the many things murr will learn; they like pets almost as much as they like giving them. though it's more about the nature of the touch when you get down to it. ]

one of the many shadows (not the ones being touched, because yes they are greedy) winds it's way around murr, crawling up his leg, his abdomen, his torso, and then winding around his neck. for a second, it almost looks like some type of choker, dipped in onyx.

it pulls taut, enough to cause a brief shortness of breath, and then snaps. like spilled ink, it trickles down all over murr's skin, trying to suffuse into his body, and maybe deeper. ]
